Job Responsibilities
- Follows the Operations Management Development program:
- Rotation 1 – Sustainability Department Experience: The Trainee works in a project-based role within the Sustainability team.
- Rotation 2 – Operations Department Experience: The Trainee works in a project-based role within the Operations team at a plant level to gain a better understanding of the function in an operational setting.
- Rotation 3 – Cross-Functional Experience & Operations Project(s): The Trainee shadows in multiple departments to gain a well-rounded view of the business and acts as a member/leader of a key Operations project(s). These job shadows would include Corporate Roles as well as Plan Based roles.
- Rotation 4 – Operations Leadership & Global Assignment: The Trainee works in an Operations leadership role and completes a global assignment.
- Remains abreast of OMT Rotation Program requirements.
- Discusses career goals with management their personal mentor, Dave McDonald.
- Remains engaged in training plans and project assignments to gain the experience intended by the program.
- Reflects on and retains learning experiences.
- Presents learning experiences to management at the end of each rotation.
- Participates regularly in staff and other group meetings.
- This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 0-1 years of experience in related field is preferred.
- Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
- Relevant Internship experience.
- Ability to present to senior leadership.
- BA/BS or equivalent is preferred.
- Work is generally performed within a business professional office environment, with standard office equipment available.
- Work conditions are typical of an office & plant environment.
- This role does not require any domestic travel
- Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds
- Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
- Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Less than 4 hours.
