Ops Shipping and Receiving Specialist(Entry Level Position)
Perform an array of functions that may include receiving/shipping networking and server gear, picking, packing and filling orders from inventory or same day incoming equipment, paint equipment, breaking down boxes and making boxes for outbound shipping.
Essential duties and responsibilities
· Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks and checking equipment for any shipping damage
· Pick and process orders and returns; pulling materials for orders; pack boxes; placing orders in designated delivery area; run shipping labels
· Paint Equipment such as network switches and routers
· Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, Sweep, break down and throw away boxes and trash. Always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
Qualification requirements
- Self-Motivated
- Dependable, Reliable and quick learner
- Able to work with team or with little or no supervision
- Able to multitask and be detailed oriented
- Good communication, organized and good with time management
- Able to work under pressure and meet daily deadlines
- Fed Ex/UPS/DHL Software Systems experience is a plus (Can Train)
· Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook is a plus (Can Train)
- At least 1-year warehouse experience preferred
· High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Physical demands and abilities
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-75lbs and occasionally assist in lifting and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
