OSI Optoelectronics is seeking an Assembler for its second shift (4:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.) to perform limited electronic and electromechanical production assembly and assembly operations of repetitive nature to build up and assemble routine units.
Responsibilities
- Use small hand tools such as soldering irons and tweezers under microscope.
- Works with epoxy and other chemicals.
- Operates from assembly drawings, diagrams, blueprints or previously established methods.
- Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
- Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
- It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of component identification desired.
- Ability to understand Assembly drawings desired.
- Ability to effectively read, write and communicate using English language.
- Must be able to work schedule of 4pm-12:30am.
