Rapiscan Systems | AS&E, an OSI Systems Company is seeking a Configurtion Management Analyst out of Billerica, MA.

Working within the Cargo and Vehicle Inspection section of Rapiscan Systems & AS&E Engineering teams. As part of our team, you will be involved in projects at all stages of the product lifecycle, from initial concept generation, new product introduction and continuous improvement in manufacture. Reporting to the Director of Product Improvement and Configuration Management you will be responsible for enabling configuration management processes and identifying opportunities to advance the CM function. Review Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and where the ECOs do not conform you will be responsible for returning the ECO to the originator and help the originator understand the error and how to correct it.

Responsibilities
- Participate in process development between configuration management and interfacing departments.
- Identify opportunities to advance the CM function into other areas, pulling tasks through the Product Development and Sustaining Engineering processes.
- Look for opportunities to collaborate with interfacing departments to improve processes that will improve efficiency in CM and throughout the organization.
- Review Engineering Change Orders (ECO) to ensure the proposed changes are correct and conform to Rapiscan Systems internal requirements and standards.
- Ensure changes conform industry standard Fit, Form and Function requirements.
- Responsible for the management and administration of the manufacturing database with respect to part life cycle, product structure, vendor information, etc.
- Responsible for accuracy of documentation packages to ensure that all pertinent information is complete.
- Coordinate proper workflows for all product structure changes, overseeing timely implementation of all workflows.
- Responsible for communication of product documentation release and changes.
- Participate in writing and updating necessary procedures to document configuration requirements.
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of defined programs as required by Supervisor. Other duties as required or directed.

Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in the field of documentation control.
- Knowledge of and experience with product structures (BOMs), Change Control Board (CCB) processes, release of documentation, design environment, production planning, etc.
- Experience on MRP or ERP systems required.
- Demonstrated experience on a team in a CM environment.
- Strong project and people management skills.
- Flexibility to respond to changing business needs.
- Strong communication skills, including excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to independently accomplish assigned tasks and work with others.
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels.
- Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
