Our products integrate inspection services in seaports, land borders, and airports collecting and analyzing vast amount of data with a mission to accelerate secure trade and travel. Our focus on Operations, Integration, and Training positions us at the forefront of developing advanced technologies and techniques that enhance screening capabilities.
Join our Data Science group to be at the forefront of security and customs automation that will revolutionize the flow of goods and people across borders. We are seeking a person to develop systems to process and analyze large amounts of inspection data and collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to deliver robust solutions for homeland security clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement scalable machine-learning algorithms for processing of images and text.
- Lead crowdsourcing and algorithmic labeling efforts.
- Innovate in monitoring and statistical analysis of data processing to ensure optimal performance.
- Influence technology and infrastructure decisions, including upgrades and replacements.
- Pursue continuous professional development through certifications and training.
- Mentor and guide team members.

- Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.

- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Physics, Electrical engineering, or a related quantitative field; Master's degree in these fields perferred.
- 2 years’ experience in developing machine learning algorithms in computer vision and language processing using frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow.
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, SQL, Matlab, PHP, JavaScript, Html; experience with OO programming (C , Java) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, Jira and similar development tools.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desired.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork capabilities.
