Summary
As an Interior Designer at Oskar Huber Furniture, you will have the opportunity to create thoughtful room plans and customized designs that reflect our clients' personal styles. This role is essential in enhancing our customers' experiences while contributing to the legacy of our family-run business.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences and functional needs.
- Create detailed floor plans renderings.
- Select appropriate furnishings, materials, and colors that align with client visions.
- Manage multiple design projects from concept through execution, ensuring timelines are met.
- Provide expert advice on lighting design and color theory to enhance spaces.
- Develop customized room plans that maximize functionality and aesthetic appeal.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the design process for optimal satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends to offer innovative solutions to clients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Higher Education
- Interior Design Certification or design experience; sales experience preferred
- Computer skills necessary; ability to work with company computer software
- Experience in project management within the interior design industry is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of renovation processes is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to space plan
- Valid driver's license
