Osman Construction Corporation is currently seeking a full-time Superintendent to join our team.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of commercial construction experience required.
- Supervision of construction to ensure the project is in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
- Knowledge of site safety and health guidelines.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, submittals, inspection reports, etc.
- In-depth understanding of construction process.
- Excellent communication skills with Project Manager, Clients, Architects, Subcontractors, and Vendors.
- Experience in creating and maintaining schedules.
- Proficient in Procore and Microsoft Office
- OSHA 30
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, phasing and look-a-heads.
- Schedule all trades and manpower for efficient work flow.
- Attend job-site meetings as required.
- Coordinate all required inspections.
- Hold weekly jobsite safety meetings.
- Work with project manager to provide direction, requirements, and timelines to complete the project on-time and within budget.
- Responsible for project set-up including temp power and utilities, staging areas, jobsite office, signage, dumpsters, safety equipment, etc.
- Positive leadership ability.
- Timely response to Project Management, Subcontractors, Vendors, and Owners on all project issues.
- Review all submittals that they are in compliance with contract requirements.
- Review all change order requests prior to submittal.
- Review and respond to all RFI requests.
- Ensure a safe, clean and accident-free jobsite.
- Timely and thorough documentation of all incidents.
