Overview
Osmose is the leading provider in the utility/telecom service industry. Osmose Utilities Services, inc is an 80 year strong company that specializes in providing services for the utility and telecommunications industries nationally.
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who will assist the Supervisor with pole inspection, treatment and restoration. This is a production based job, with a chance to get a bonus as a crew each week. In addition, this is a labor intensive environment but advancement through hard work is easily done.
Position:
Crew Member
Education/ Experience:
No experience necessary (Outdoor work experience a plus)
Responsibilities
Operate in a safe and efficient manner utilizing all required safety equipment (hard hat, safety vest, work boots, shovels, etc.)
Utilizing equipment to bore holes, excavate, sound or chip utility poles.
Apply preservatives to wood utility poles.
Drive steel into ground to help restore strength to a pole. Help install trusses to deteriorated wood utility poles.
Achieve and maintain acceptable levels of productivity and quality.
Minor brush clearing
Operate company vehicle (if applicable and qualified).
Complete trainings
Perform all other reasonable duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements/Qualifications
Must be able to Travel away from home for short and extended periods of a time to various locations when necessary.
Be available to work Monday through Saturday.
Have lace up work boots.
Ability to work outdoors in the elements year round.
Must be willing to stay in a Hotel (Paid for by the employer).
Have a great attitude.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States. (S.S card/ID Card etc.)

Must maintain a consistent attendance.
Must be able pass a drug test.
Location of applicant
Wheelersburg, OH (preferred but travel up to 1-2 weeks at a time)
Starting Pay (Paid weekly)
$17.00/hr weekly bonus
