Ospraie Management, LLC (“OMLLC”) is an investment adviser founded in 2004 by Dwight Anderson. The firm is focused on fundamental investing in basic industry and agricultural commodities as well as correlated equities and private real assets. The firm currently has three main strategies : a liquid hedge fund, a real assets private equity fund, and an agricultural technology venture capital fund. OMLLC has 20 employees and offices in New York, NY and Rye, NY.
OMLLC's flagship hedge fund invests in agricultural, energy, softs, and metals-based commodity futures and options since its inception in 2009.
OMLLC's real assets private equity fund invests in middle market companies in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia across real asset sectors including infrastructure, energy, agriculture, metals & mining, transportation, and related technologies.
OMLLC's agricultural technology venture capital fund invests in early and mid-stage startups that provide solutions to help farmers "Do More With Less"—increasing profitability, improving quality-adjusted yield, and reducing environmental impact.
About the Role
Role : Private Equity Analyst (Real Assets)
Firm : Ospraie Management, a New York based, basic industries and commodity asset manager founded in 2004
Location : New York City / Rye, NY; in office 3 – 4 days per week
Qualifications :
- 1 years of finance and modeling experience required
- Bachelors degree required
- Accounting experience is a plus
- Real Asset experience is a plus
- Technical, engineering, business, finance, and other similar degrees and experience are attractive
- Interested in candidates coming from industry
- Candidate must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communications skills
- Humble and hard working
