The Banquet Chef is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and execution for banquets, catering events, and large-scale dining services. This role ensures high-quality culinary offerings, maintains food safety standards, and leads a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, prepare, and execute menus for banquets, weddings, corporate events, and other large gatherings.
· Oversee food production, ensuring presentation, quality, and taste meet company standards.
· Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and supervising team members.
· Coordinate with event planners, catering managers, and clients to customize menus and meet dietary needs.
· Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
· Maintain inventory, order supplies, and control food costs while minimizing waste.
· Monitor kitchen equipment, ensuring maintenance and functionality.
· Collaborate with the Executive Chef and management to innovate new dishes and improve banquet services.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace.
· Supervise plating, presentation, and service to ensure consistency and excellence.
Required Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Banquet Chef or in a similar high-volume culinary role.
· Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
· In-depth knowledge of banquet-style cooking, food trends, and large-scale food production.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and efficiency.
· Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
· ServSafe or relevant food safety certification is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
