What are the responsibilities and job description for the EMT/Security Officer position at OSS, Inc.?
OSS Inc., an established contract security company with over 50 years of experience, is looking for dependable, hard-working Security Person with Current State certified EMT credentials in the Lockport, NY and or surrounding area.
This position will be staffed in a Manufacturing facility.
EMT’s/Security Guards
- Part-time positions available to cover the following shifts:, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am, 6a – 2p (weekends only).
- No EMS transports, on-site assessments only as needed, and pay is above industry standards.
- For Security, we can assist with obtaining your NYS certification if you do not have one.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Duties and Requirements:
- Maintain a Security Presence and perform specific duties
- Assist Client with Clerical work as directed and needed
- Meet and greet employees, contractors and visitors in a professional manner
- Complete all required training required by both State, Company, and Client to maintain EMT certification etc.
- Respond to all emergency calls and provide support when warranted
- Make appropriate contacts to additional Emergency Services and Client Safety & Management as required
- Prepare written reports as required by Company and Client
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50lbs when required
- Must be able to perform walking rounds and navigate stairs
