OSS Inc., an established contract security company with over 50 years of experience, is looking for dependable, hard-working trained firefighters in the Brackenridge, PA area.
We are looking for a Firefighter/EMT for a manufacturing facility.
Hiring all shifts.
$20 an hour.
Duties:
- Responding to emergency calls and providing medical assistance as a firefighter/EMT
- Conducting initial assessments of patients and administering basic life support measures
- Administering first aid and performing CPR when necessary
- Operating and maintaining firefighting equipment and vehicles
- Provide advanced fire/rescue/EMS services, - Conducting fire safety inspections
Skills:
- Proficient in assessing vital signs and providing appropriate medical interventions
- Knowledge of medical techniques and protocols
- Mechanical knowledge to operate firefighting apparatus and equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- CPR certification
-Essentials of firefighting (all 4 modules). Pro Board Certification as a Firefighter 1 (preferred)
-HazMat Operations level (Pro board certification preferred)
-Emergency Medical Technician (State of Pennsylvania and/or National Registry)
