OSS, Inc., an established contract security guard company with over 50 years in the private security, asset protection, and investigative fields, is looking for dependable, hard-working security officers in the Middlefield, Ohio area.
OSS, Inc. security guards are fully uniformed, unarmed, and trained.
$14.50 per hour.
This is a full time position consisting of the following hours:
- Monday through Thursday, 11pm to 7am.
- Sunday, 7am to 3pm
40 total hours per week. Employee will work this schedule each week unless changes are agreed upon. Overtime opportunities are often available and pay at time-and-a-half.
***Health, dental, and vision insurance benefits available upon completion of 90 days' employment at an average of at least 36 hours weekly.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure safety of site, property, and personnel through observation (in-person and CCTV,) rounds/checks, and compliance inspections
- Responding to and assisting with emergency situations
- Completing daily logs, incident reports, and other documentation as required
- Be a respectful, helpful, and professional presence for client employees, visitors, and the public
- Transport employees for medical purposes using company-owned vehicles
- Completing tasks as requested by security management and client
- Signing visitors, contractors, and vendors in and out of facilities
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work additional shifts as deemed necessary
- Ability to speak and write English
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license in good standing required - position involves driving
