Class sessions will be held in person at the Osseo Area Learning Center (M-F). Classes will be held in two sessions (8:00am-10:00am and 10:00am-12:00pm).
(No School - June 19th, July 3rd, & July 4th)
Hours
5.25 hrs/day (office hours 8:00am-12:00pm, scheduled from 7:45am-1:00pm to include prep and breaks); 5 days/week (M-F).
Staff hours may be adjusted slightly after the program starts based on student enrollment.
General Purpose of Job: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning.
Responsibilities: Position provides instruction and support in the curriculum areas for which employed; make appropriate use of instructional resources and technologies. Implement the goals and objectives of the District and the school and/or program for which employed. Write and implement individual student goals and objectives. Maintain contact and communications with parents of students and work with them in the development of each student.
Required Qualifications: Valid Minnesota teaching license in secondary English.
Desired Qualifications
Salary: Pro-rata for district licensed teachers; $35 per hour for non-district licensed teachers.

- Considerable knowledge of standards based learning, educational best practice, and Osseo Area Schools policies, processes and procedures.

- Working knowledge of instructional technologies.
- Considerable skill in classroom management and organization.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
