LPN/RN Charge Nurse

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including memory care and trauma centers. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to manage complex cases, and a commitment to patient advocacy. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with medical staff to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Duties

• Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and medical history.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in Level I and Level II Trauma Centers to coordinate patient care.
• Perform case management duties, ensuring continuity of care throughout the treatment process.
• Conduct medical imaging procedures when necessary, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Participate in family planning discussions and provide relevant resources to patients.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in pain management strategies to enhance patient comfort during recovery.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Experience in memory care or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Botulinum toxin treatment procedures is a plus.
• Knowledge of Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments is beneficial.
• Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with nursing practices.

Pay: $26.00 - $44.00 per hour
