Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including memory care and trauma centers. Duties
- Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in Level I and Level II Trauma Centers to coordinate patient care.
- Perform case management duties, ensuring continuity of care throughout the treatment process.
- Conduct medical imaging procedures when necessary, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Participate in family planning discussions and provide relevant resources to patients.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Engage in pain management strategies to enhance patient comfort during recovery.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in memory care or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Botulinum toxin treatment procedures is a plus.
- Knowledge of Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments is beneficial.
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple priorities effectively.
