Ossid is seeking a talented Electrical Assembly Technician I. Assembly of Electrical Control Panels, Junction Boxes, and wire harnesses from prints. This position is responsible for the physical assembly, wiring, layout, and mounting of components for panels and industrial equipment. All duties must be performed in accordance with all company policies and procedures. This position reports to the Electrical Assembly Team Lead.

This position is responsible for the physical assembly, wiring, layout, and mounting of components for panels and industrial equipment. All duties must be performed in accordance with all company policies and procedures. This position reports to the Electrical Assembly Team Lead.
Are you passionate about this work?
- Dimension and layout of back panels and enclosures
- Mounting components to back panels and enclosures.
- Solder wires and connectors to complete sub-assemblies.
- Use of hand and/or power tools for drilling/tapping holes.
- Routing and bundling wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards.
- Point to point wiring of relays, controls, PLCs, I/O Modules, VFDs, Interfaces, & Instrumentation.
- Maintain red line drawing mark-ups of changes required during fabrication.
- Communicate red line changes to Engineer or Team Leader for revision prior to completion.
- Communicate effectively with all team members, leads, builders, engineers and management.
- The ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- A high standard of quality and attention to detail.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as needed.

- High School diploma or GED. Technical school certification and/or training a plus. Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings.
- Ability to understand and work from electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical theory and terminology required.
- Ability to communicate effectively, (written and verbally) with peers, management.
- Must be willing to work some overtime if the business need arises.
- Must be very detailed oriented and strive to achieve high quality results.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize, and adhere to written procedures.
- Professionalism, a positive attitude and willingness to work as a team
- Sufficient physical strength to lift various materials weighing 50 pounds.
- Use of hand trucks and forklift.
