Job Title: County-Wide Community Enrichment Director

Are you a passionate and innovative leader looking to make a meaningful impact on the well-being of older adults? We’re seeking a County-Wide Community Enrichment Director to develop and implement engaging activities and vital resources for long-term care facilities throughout the county.
What You’ll Do
- Volunteer Engagement: Recruit and coordinate volunteers to support a variety of enrichment activities—such as calling bingo, playing board games, friendly visits, playing the piano, and leading art projects—in facilities across the county.
- Design and Coordinate Programs: Create and oversee diverse recreational, social, and educational activities to enhance the quality of life for residents in multiple facilities.
- Community Partnership Building: Collaborate with local organizations, volunteers, and stakeholders to expand available resources and programs.
- Leadership & Training: Recruit, train, and mentor staff and volunteers, ensuring consistent, high-quality experience for all involved.
- Resource Management: Identify and allocate necessary funding, supplies, and community support for successful program execution.
- Performance Evaluation: Monitor and assess the effectiveness of enrichment activities, using feedback and data to continuously improve offerings.
What We’re Looking For
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Recreation Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 3 years of program development or community outreach experience, ideally in healthcare, senior services, or related sectors.
- Leadership Skills: Strong track record in leading teams, project management, and volunteer coordination.
- Communication Proficiency: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills to foster relationships across diverse communities.
- Public Speaking: Confidence and skill in delivering presentations to community-based organizations and city councils.
- Valid Driver’s License: Ability to travel throughout the county to visit various facilities and community partners.
