Job Summary:
YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT INSURANCE FOR THIS POSITION! We will train you! Are you extremely organized, and able to multi task in a fast paced environment? We are growing and adding to our team in our downtown Moorhead office. We are looking for a customer service representative who will be responsible for customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. This role focuses on maintaining high levels of client engagement, addressing client concerns promptly, and ensuring clients continue to see the value in their insurance products. The ideal candidate will be proactive, client-focused, and able to build strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Satisfaction:
  • Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries. Answer inbound phone calls and assist walk in traffic with payments, billing inquiries, filing a claim, and other customer service related inquiries.
• Proactive Outreach:
  • Help plan and assist with client appreciation events, which strengthen relationships and improve retention.
• Insurance license:
  • After 90 days of employment, our candidate will take an insurance license training course, and pass a test to get their insurance license. Study time is given during the work day, and all expenses are employer paid. In our 29 year history, we have never had a team member who didn't pass. In order to be issued an insurance license, the states of North Dakota and Minnesota run a criminal background check.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • High School diploma or GED
• Professional Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years in customer service at a customer service counter, bank, office, or retail store.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills, problem-solving, and maintaining a customer-focused approach.
• Organization and Detail Orientation: High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Outlook and Word. Has used technology for professional work, and catches on quickly.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position. Monday to Friday 8:00 to 5:00pm. No evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Office-based and will not become a remote position.
• Option to work remotely on snow days.
