Our client's team is growing and hiring a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to be responsible for both business and systems analysis activities. This role leverages technical, system, and business analysis skills to interact with the business stakeholders, analyze their needs and pain points, and identify appropriate technical solutions. The BSA plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
Job Requirements :
- Experience with analyzing current business processes and making recommendations for improvements based on industry trends and professional business knowledge
- Experience with documenting business processes and requirements
- Proficient in business analysis and communication techniques
- Experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle and Project Life Cycle Management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills to demonstrate solutions to stakeholders
- Strong documentation skills to support recommendations
- Analytical skills, inquisitive approach, and insightful thought process
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges
- Strong organizational skills and works well within a collaborative team setup
- Ability to see and grasp big-picture concepts quickly and break them down into detailed subcomponents
- Experience with software testing and quality assurance
- Knowledge of Oracle Retail Systems and retail systems is a plus
- Project management experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and related office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related technology field is preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of business systems analysis experience
