Position Overview
As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and polished professional who excels in customer service and thrives in a dynamic, high-end restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating to optimize dining room flow.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus, ensuring a smooth transition to their dining experience.
- Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and management to coordinate guest needs.
- Handle waitlists efficiently, providing accurate wait-time estimates.
- Assist with answering phones, taking reservations, and providing general restaurant information.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and elegant host stand and entrance area.
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve any concerns promptly and professionally.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Preferably 1 years in a host, receptionist, or front-of-house role, preferably in an upscale or fine dining restaurant.
- Personality: Friendly, polished, and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
- Organization: Ability to multitask and manage reservations and seating efficiently.
- Customer Service: A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy, Toast Tables) is a plus.
- Availability: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
