We are looking for a passionate individual with experience working in kitchens who is excited to execute the culinary style of Nancy Silverton.
As the leader of our pastry team, you will be responsible for managerial duties, maintaining a positive and clean working environment, and running an efficient morning and night service.

Requirements include (but are not limited to):
- 4 years (minimum) of experience as a pastry chef;
- Previous experience working in restaurants with elevated service standards;
- Ability to work long hours on your feet and lift up to 50lbs;
- Full-time position with flexible schedule (lunch, dinners, weekends and holidays);
- Great time-management and organizational skills;
- Passion for pastry and willingness to learn and grow, able to take directions well;
- Ability to handle a very busy environment while effectively deligating to your team and prioritizing the guest experience;
- Ability to solve problems quickly, calmly, and effectively
- You must know the LA Department of Health codes relevant to food service;
Regular responisbilities include :
- Looking for, hiring, and training new employees;
- Creating a schedule that constantly fluctuates based on employees' weekly needs;
- Making doughs, batters, and gelato bases for the night service;
- Overseeing morning prep and night service and making sure desserts are made and plated properly and in a timely manner;
- Communicating with managers from other departments for collaborations and events
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
