OSW Equipment & Repair, LLC, a subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation, is the largest truck body and trailer manufacturer in the Pacific Northwest. OSW’s main facility is located in the Maltby area in Snohomish County. OSW and has been in business for over 20 years and has branches in Edmonton, Canada and Tempe, Arizona.
As a Production Shop Assistant, you will be relied on performing various jobs throughout the facility that supports production activities. We are looking for someone who prioritizes safety and delivers excellence! If you are bright, highly motivated, and a team player we encourage you to apply!
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials throughout all departments
- Ensure shop areas are clean in appearance including removing trash and sweeping as required
- Successfully operate forklift and pallet jack to move pallets of goods throughout shop floor
- Act as shuttle driver to assist with truck deliveries
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working in a manufacturing setting
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- High School graduate or GED preferred
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Additional Job Information:
- Wage Expectations: $18 - $22 per hour
- Pay: This is a non-exempt, hourly position and employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis
- Typical Schedule: Five (5) Eight (8) hour days M-F
- Location: On Site – 20812 Broadway Ave; Snohomish, WA 98296
- Travel: Very minimal to none
