The Title I Interventionist is grant-funded through the Title I program and Teacher Vacancy Grant. This one-year role is designed to provide targeted academic support to student subgroups demonstrating the highest need. This educator will work closely with students who are below grade level in reading and/or math—particularly those receiving special education services, English learners, and students deemed at-risk. The interventionist will collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to implement evidence-based instructional strategies, monitor student progress, and help close achievement gaps through small group instruction and individualized support.
COMPENSATION: Per Teacher Salary Schedule based on education and experience.District 308 grants experience credit on the salary schedule for up to 10 years of prior, verifiable, contractual full-time teaching experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified applicant must hold a valid/registered Illinois Professional Educator License with Elementary Education (Self Contained General Education) endorsement.
