What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Assistant position at Oswego Teachers EFCU?
This position serves as the assistant to the VP of Finance, absolute institutional integrity on fiscal and personnel matters is required.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist in the maintenance of accurate and timely financial records.
· Assist with general ledger reconciliations.
· Assist with Accounts Payable duties.
· Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes.
· Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
· Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
· Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.
· Assist with audit preparation.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
· BBA with a concentration in Accounting preferred, candidates with related experience will be considered.
· Financial institution experience a plus.
· Must be Task oriented with the ability to take direction, work independently and meet deadlines.
· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills required.
· Experience with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel.
· Willingness to learn and grow within our organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
