We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team!

Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy treatment to pediatric clients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Implement individualized therapy plans to support children in developing motor, sensory, and functional skills.
- Utilize play-based, sensory integration, child driven and functional activities to promote independence in daily tasks.
- Collaborate with the supervising OT to track client progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate and coach parents/caregivers on strategies to continue therapeutic progress at home.
- Document therapy sessions accurately, ensuring compliance with OT Park’s policies and state regulations.
- Maintain a fun, engaging, and supportive environment that fosters learning and confidence in children.
- Work as part of a collaborative therapy team to enhance interdisciplinary care.
Qualifications & Requirements
✅ OTA Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
✅ Current COTA license in CA
✅ 2-3 years Experience in pediatrics (preferred, but new grads with pediatric fieldwork are encouraged to apply!).
✅ Passion for working with children of all abilities, including those with sensory processing disorders, autism, ADHD, and developmental delays.
✅ Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members.
✅ Ability to create a fun, motivating, and therapeutic environment using play-based interventions.
✅ CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
✅ Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs as needed for therapy sessions.
