OTB Bicycle Cafe in Bridgeville, PA is looking for bartenders to join our 100 person team. We are located on 1595 Mayview Rd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails using fresh, premium ingredients.
- Maintain a well-organized and fully stocked bar with premium spirits, mixers, and garnishes.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking with the bar manager.
- Provide a warm, professional, and engaging experience to guests.
- Anticipate customer needs, offer suggestions, and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns tactfully and professionally.
- Stay updated on current drink trends and mixology techniques.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of wines, beers, and spirits.
- Educate guests on drink selections and answer questions confidently.
- Verify customers are of a legal drinking age and responsibly serve alcohol.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation practices.
- Work closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist team members during peak hours and contribute to a positive work environment.
Bartender Expectations
- At least 2 years of bartending experience in a high volume dining setting.
- Maintain a polished appearance in line with the establishment’s dress code.
- Exhibit punctuality and reliability in scheduling.
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- RAMP certification and or TIPS/ServSafe Alcohol certification.
- Ensure every drink is consistent in quality and presentation.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Build rapport with regular guests and create memorable experiences.
- Open to working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Adapt to last-minute changes in staffing or menu offerings.
- Comfortable standing for long periods and performing light to moderate lifting.
- Handle the physical demands of fast-paced high volume shifts with positivity and grace.
