What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance position at OTB Bicycle Cafe?
OTB Bicycle Cafe in Bridgeville, PA is looking for a candidate to join our 100 person strong team. This position is a blend of both maintenance and janitorial responsibilities.
We are located on 1595 Mayview Rd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and reliable. Experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Daily exterior/interior walk-through to determine priority tasks
~Front patio, back patio, windows, ledges, dining room, bathrooms, kitchen, closets
- Vestibule cleanliness;
~doors, floor, baseboards ceiling, windows
- Dining room floor maintenance;
~ floors, baseboards, walls
- Restroom maintenance; (toilets, sinks, walls doors)
~ Polish all dispensers and fixtures. Clean and disinfect basins, toilet bowls, urinals and countertops. Restock of expendable products such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, can liners, air fresheners.
- Dusting;
~including ledges, lights, and decorative fixtures. This responsibility will include all accessible HVAC vents.
- Window cleaning interior and exterior;
~Develop a window cleaning schedule to rotate all windows within a 1 month timeframe. Windows to be cleaned with hand-held scrubs and squeegees
- Maintaining trash cans and dumpster area;
~ Maintenance of all in house trash cans as well as waste management container and concrete platform
- BOH Floors;
~~Develop a BOH floor maintenance schedule for regular floor and baseboard cleanings.
- Ability to use general maintenance equipment;
~ Ladders, power drills, leaf blowers, mops, floor scrubbers, pressure washers, etc.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Valid PA drivers license
- Able to use hand and mechanical tools to ensure safety and completion of tasks
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to handle products or equipment weighing up to 100lbs
