Responsibilities:Present IPEG professionally and competently in all situations, adhering to OTC's mission statement and core valuesWork on Service Order updates and scheduling/completion of orders through the shopPresent and maintain knowledge of all aspects and options available within company ERP and apply it accordingly to each entryProcess order entry into company ERPAcknowledge to the customer the receipt of purchase orders, enter order into company ERP and place orders with vendors, where applicable.Add applicable notes to orders, as requested by Operations/Purchasing, for proper Purchase Order follow-up and expeditingEnsure accurate data entry into company ERP during order entry for proper internals department tracking and schedulingExtensive knowledge of service account requirements and special situationsAdjust and follow through on customer inquiries regarding service ordersGain specialized technical knowledge about our products and applications.Present and maintain knowledge of all aspects and options available within company ERP and able to apply it accordingly to each opportunityMaintain knowledge of and utilize vendor portalsGather and provide information to sales and management teamWork cooperatively with other associates; be a Team player. Offer assistance when requested/required.Provide trouble-shooting assistanceFollow up with sales to ensure that issues are resolved to their satisfactionDevelop and maintain list of suppliers for goods and servicesNegotiate best pricing for products/services with suppliersCollect and distribute required service documentation (i.e., IOM, MSDS information, etc.) from suppliers and customers.Expedite purchase orders as / if necessary.Enter and maintain customer sales orders into company ERP distribution software system as necessary.Perform all tasks assigned by the Service Management or other Company ManagementGather and provide information to Sales Team when required and/or requestedObtain product manuals/bills of materials, parts pricing, parts entry, expedites, and shipping documentation for all new and approved service jobsBe knowledgeable with all aspects of internal repair facility including processes and workflowGather and provide information to IPEG technicians, Application Engineers, Account Managers and Management.Adjust and follow through on all internal inquires including parts requests, manual requests, and outsourced labor/work requirementsMaintain all paperwork from beginning to end of job processEducation and Experience Requirements:Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or High School Diploma with two (2) years related experience.Experience and knowledge of electrical, automation or mechanical distribution.Excellent customer relation and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsDetail oriented, including accurate data entry skillsCapable of working independently, as well as a team memberHigh level office computer skills required. Microsoft Office knowledge a must.
