OTC Industrial Technologies is looking for a Compressor Technician to join our team in Houston, Texas !
As a Compressor Technician you will be responsible for packaging, installing, trouble shooting, repairing and maintaining our fleet air compressors. You will use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic, and precision measuring tools for maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of compressed air system equipment. In addition, you will leverage knowledge of operations and parts manuals associated with all equipment.
What You'll Do :
- Provides technical assistance on equipment commissioning and start-ups, installations and repairs of compressed air systems. Including "hands-on" work to assure equipment operates to customer's requirement with limited guidance in an unsupervised environment.
- Ensures proper operation of compressed air equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements and inspections on a wide variety of compressors, desiccant dryers and additional compressed air components.
- Document service and repair activities by completing work orders for each job, maintenance checklist and daily time sheets.
- Increase customer's awareness of Critical Rentals additional products and services.
- Daily travel to customer sites, occasional overtime, and sporadic on-call emergency service is required to meet customers' needs.
- Some overnight travel within the U.S. which may include transportation by vehicle or airplane.
- Conducts safety assessments of a continuously changing working environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
