JCI Industries is seeking a positive, reliable, self-motivated team player to assist our logistics team as a part-time Warehouse Generalist in Lee's Summit, MO. As a Warehouse Generalist, you will be responsible for the picking and filling of equipment orders that will be shipped throughout the Midwest.

What You'll Do:

•  Receive replenishment orders and stock the warehouse.  Pick various orders as directed by the pick tickets.
•  Load LTL and Truckload shipments.
•  Coordinate with the production team to schedule daily deliveries and pick ups.
•  Occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
•  Carry out pre-shift checks of equipment.
•  Breakdown and restack merchandise from pallets during random audits.
•  Verify quantity of the products.
•  Ensure items are picked accurately and safely to prevent injury or damage.
•  Responsible for variation of all outgoing and incoming products for accuracy in terms of size, amount, and type.  
• Other duties may be assigned.

What You'll Need:

•  High school education or GED equivalent.
•  1 year of warehouse and order selection experience a plus.  
• Forklift experience preferred.
•  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  
• Must be able to lift up to 60lbs.
•  Must be hard working and self-motivated.
•  Must have excellent verbal and communication skills, including good customer service abilities.
