Due to community needs we are adding an ADDITIONAL Nursing staff to the ER.
Othello Community Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Duty RN in our Emergency Room Department (ER Nurse) to join our team. Our Emergency Room is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for providing top-notch patient care. Current Shift Openings: Seeking both a 12-hour shift 0900-2100 and a 12-hour shift 2100-0900. 12-24 hrs. a week with Rotating shifts Monday-Sunday and Weekends. No Benefits.
- Performs and coordinates total nursing care for patients and participates in patient and family discharge teaching in the Emergency Room Department.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
- Trained to float to the acute care unit during orientation.
- Emergency Room experience preferred, but not necessary.
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
RN Washington State License; BLS required at time of hire; ACLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC within 6 months of hire.
