Non-Instructional Program Secretary (Assessment) @ McFarland Middle School 7.5 hours/day


Job Description

  • Maintain and update for their building all data sheets for student assessments
  • Operate various pieces of equipment, i.e. copy machine, computers, etc.
  • Organize and oversee the administration of district assessments K-12.
  • Help with the administration of district assessments K-12.
  • Complete day-to-day tasks with little to no supervision
  • Write routine reports, correspondence regarding assessment data, and other information needed.
  • Manage multiple schedules
  • Other duties as assigned by administrator/supervisor


Minimum Qualifications

  • High School graduate, or GED.
  • AA degree, or 48 semester credits or 72-quarter credits from an institution of higher education (level 100 class or higher), or having successfully passed the ETS ParaPro Assessment.
  • Successfully pass a skill review in math, English, and computer management, of which some is written and practical. (Department Secretary Test).
  • Dependable, trustworthy, experience working with children and adults, good time manager, initiative.
  • Good communication skills (with parents and OSD staff)
  • Adaptability to learn new computer programs and manage data within those programs.
  • Physically able to occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds.
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, stoop, bend, reach, kneel, crawl, and grasp as required to successfully perform all duties and requirements.
  • Ability to focus (adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus), clear vision at twenty (20) inches or less, and clear vision at twenty (20) feet or more.

Salary: Per PSE CBA - Schedule A

Hours: Per Position Listed Above

Contracted Days: 179 work days & 7 holidays (189 total contracted days)
