Seasonal Grounds Helper/Mower Operator

Job Description

• Operate power-riding mowers to cut grass district-wide.
• Other duties may be assigned by Maintenance Department Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED
• Must have a valid Washington state driver’s license
• Physical ability to walk, use hands to use tools and/or equipment, unrestricted range of motion, able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job:
  • The employee regularly works outside.
  • The employee frequently works near/around moving mechanical parts.
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration.
  • The noise level is usually loud (PPE will be provided).

Terms of Employment:

Hours: 8 hours/day, Monday through Friday

Duration: Approximately March through October (dependent upon weather)
