About the Role
The Assistant Digital Archivist will play a key role at Othram by assisting in converting analog and physical media into structured, accessible digital assets.
What You Get to Do Every Day
- Operate and maintain scanning hardware, audio / video digitization equipment, and related software to digitize various media formats.
- Conduct inventory photography and damage assessments for archival materials.
- Carefully disassemble and reassemble binders and other bound documents of evidence for digitization.
- Perform quality control on digitized documents, including fixing labels and ensuring accurate metadata tagging.
- Review, index, and scan case files to create structured digital records.
