About the Role
As a UI / UX Designer at Othram, you will design and implement software interfaces that power the world’s most advanced forensic DNA analysis platform. This role blends web development, UX optimization, and interface design to create intuitive, high-performance websites that empower users and enhance forensic capabilities. You will collaborate closely with developers, scientists, engineers, and law enforcement partners to ensure our tools are accurate, efficient, and scalable. This role is ideal for a proactive designer who excels at creating user-centered, visually compelling interfaces and thrives in a mission-driven environment.

- Work on platforms like DNASolves to showcase solved cases and facilitate crowdfunding efforts for justice.
- Improve Othram’s company website to highlight research, mission, and tools for law enforcement.
- Design and optimize interfaces for Othram’s MDFI platform, the leading forensic DNA analysis platform.
- Impact How the World Sees Justice
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to communicate Othram’s mission through design.
- Maintain high standards of design across Othram’s public-facing web properties.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
- Partner with developers and scientists to build analytical and scientific tools.
- Work with laboratory scientists to design ways to communicate lab results effectively to law enforcement customers.
