Role Overview:
Otis Elevator Company is searching for a Change Order Coordinator to provide the engineering and communication necessary to customize building-specific elevator control systems. The successful candidate will review custom requests from the Otis local office and compare them to existing project data, seeking engineering input where appropriate. They will be responsible to assign changes orders to the appropriate team and team members. Then, they will provide feedback and fill out the eLogistics ordering system to convey costs and effort to the field teams.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment on individual assignments, must be self-motivated, capable of working with little supervision, willing to take a leadership role when resolving technical issues and must be a team player who works well across various departments. Excellent customer service, communication (verbal and written) and computer skills are required. The ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously is essential.
On a typical day you will:
- Engage in the customization of building specific Modernization systems.
- Support field and manufacturing teams to communicate solutions.
- Drive investigation to keep response times within existing KPIs.
- Identify areas of improvement within the deviation process.
- Respond to field questions in an effective & timely manner.
- Coordinate between multiple departments to process contract changes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline preferred
- Demonstrated analytical aptitude, problem-solving skills, conflict resolution skills, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Self-directed with excellent practices, processes, and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize
- Understanding of mechanical and software functions
- Strong communication skills
- MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fundamental understanding of Control System Logic and Power Electronics

The salary range for this role is $60,400-$90,600. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
