Job Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing revenue and growth by focusing on inbound sales negotiations, upselling opportunities, and consistently achieving individual sales targets. This role involves managing the entire sales process for inbound leadsfrom initial inquiry to contract finalizationwhile also identifying and executing upsell strategies that drive additional revenue. The ideal candidate is a results-driven, persuasive communicator who excels at building relationships with prospects and clients in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Sales Negotiations
- Lead and manage the full sales cycle for inbound leads, from discovery call to contract close.
- Evaluate customer needs, propose relevant solutions, and negotiate terms to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Maintain detailed records in the CRM system, tracking lead status and sales metrics for accurate forecasting.
Upselling & Cross-Selling
Identify opportunities within existing accounts to sell additional products or services, increasing overall customer value.Develop and deliver compelling pitches based on clients business objectives and historical purchase data.Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Product, Customer Success) to understand new offerings and seamlessly incorporate them into upsell conversations.Achieving Individual Sales Goals
Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by leadership.Prepare regular sales reports highlighting progress toward goals, pipeline health, and deal status.Proactively refine sales tactics and messaging based on performance data and market feedback.Customer Relationship Management
Establish and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing clients, acting as their main point of contact for sales inquiries.Ensure prompt follow-up on inbound leads to maximize conversion rates and deliver a superior customer experience.Solicit and incorporate customer feedback into future sales strategies, enhancing overall sales effectiveness and customer satisfaction.Sales Process Optimization
Continuously evaluate and refine inbound sales processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.Implement best practices for lead qualification, proposal development, and pricing strategies to drive higher close rates.Leverage CRM analytics and sales automation tools to streamline workflows, monitor key metrics, and optimize pipeline management.Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with Marketing to align on lead generation strategies, campaign performance, and customer profiles.Coordinate with Product, Operations, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless handoff once deals are closed.Provide input to leadership on market trends, competitor activities, and potential areas of business growth.Expectations

Education : Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent experience preferredExperience :1 year in sales, account management, or a related role with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Experience with inbound sales processes, CRM systems, and negotiation strategiesSkills :Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
