Otolaryngology Associates, PC is looking for dispensing and diagnostic audiologists to join our team.
Otolaryngology Associates is the largest and busiest ENT practice in Northern Virginia. Located in the suburbs of Washington DC, our practice has three offices including two in Fairfax County and one in Loudoun County. At Otolaryngology Associates we are able to offer diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services for all ages. We offer services for hearing aids, cochlear implants, and osseointegrated devices as well as vestibular assessment. Our team is staffed by audiologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and physician/surgeons, including a Otologist and three fellowship trained pediatric otolaryngologists.
We are looking for an audiologist with strong diagnostic and hearing aid dispensing experience (or vestibular/evoked potential experience). Cochlear implant and baha implant experience is a plus, but not required. This role is a hybrid position that includes hearing aid dispensing and audiological diagnostics across the lifespan (in the ENT clinic). The primary location for this position is in the Fairfax and Reston location. Current role is a full time position, however willing to consider part-time for a well-qualified candidate
Qualifications:
· Doctoral Or Master’s degree in Audiology required
· Current Virginia Audiology license (or eligible for licensure)
· Current Virginia Hearing Aid Dispensing license (or eligible for licensure)
· Hearing aid dispensing experience utilizing best practices
· Experience with adult and pediatric diagnostic audiology, with the ability to diagnose complex hearing losses, is required
· Experience with implantable devices is desirable, but not required
· Experience with (or willingness to learn) vestibular assessment and evoked potentials including: VNG, VEMP, ECochG, neurodiagnostic and threshold ABRs.
· Familiarity with audiology billing and coding and EHR
· Ability to work independently and as a team
· Candidate must be detail-oriented, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be able to perform multiple and diverse tasks simultaneously
