Job Summary:
Join our team at Otolaryngology Associates as a Medical Administrative Assistant! You'll support providers with scheduling, billing, triaging patient calls, and managing calendars in a fast-paced medical office. This role ensures smooth operations and a positive patient experience, working closely with a collaborative team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage and document patient, hospital, and referring MD calls.
- Coordinate surgeries and submit necessary documentation.
- Assist with billing, including coding and submission to coders.
- Manage provider calendars and schedules, ensuring timely updates.
- Support EMR order entry and notify patients about non-covered benefits.
- Back up other administrative assistants as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in a medical office (physician's secretary experience preferred).
- Strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
