Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Verify insurance information and handle insurance verification processes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar effectively.
- Assist with clerical duties such as e-filing and data entry into our EMR system.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding patient needs and appointments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar clerical role within a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
