QA Automation Engineer

Description

OTORIO is an end-to-end OT cyber security company whose proactive digital risk mitigation solutions are deployed at enterprises worldwide to protect business continuity and ongoing operations. Together with our partners, we provide comprehensive risk assessment, monitoring, and management solutions and services for critical infrastructure and industrial manufacturing organizations, enabling them to effectively secure their digital transformations in converged OT-IT-IIoT networked environments. Our global team brings the extensive mission-critical experience of top nation-state cyber security experts combined with deep operational and industrial domain expertise.

This is a hybrid position - 3 days from our office in Tel Aviv.

What we’re looking for :

We are looking for a high-motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our R&D Department. As part of the QA team you will be responsible for our product quality by implementing automation and manual testing.

In this position you will have both business and technical knowledge to impact the product quality and features. You will be working on a complex system with hybrid deployments, identifying and investigating issues and supporting the product as R&D representative.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan and implement the automation testing and infrastructure throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured E2E test plans both manual and automation.
  • Investigate issues and help identify the root cause and solutions.
  • Work closely with development and product to ensure product quality and usability.
  • Work with the Customer Success team - provide support during POV's process and deployments in production.
  • Identifying, reporting, documenting and tracking bug issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - MUST.
  • Provide exceptional customer support to both internal and external customers by addressing complex issues, offering workarounds, resolving problems, and escalating as necessary.

Requirements :

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in developing Automation tests and infrastructure - MUST.
  • At least 4 years of experience with manual testing - MUST.
  • Startup experience - MUST.
  • Experience with Linux and micro services based system - MUST.
  • Experience using SQL for test setup and validation.
  • Eagerness to take on challenges and learn new technologies super fast.
  • A strong passion for product quality and striving to improve the product.
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies.
  • Practical knowledge of working on feature-based web-application testing.
  • Accustomed to agile methodologies.
  • Has the ability to understand complex products and tools.
  • Strong leadership orientation and ability to motivate peers without formal authority and a desire to mentor others.
  • Advantages :

  • Basic Networking experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in scripting languages like Bash, Python, etc.
  • B.Sc in computer science or equivalent.
