Inventory Control Associate

To ensure inventory accuracy within the processing areas, system and process quality. To physically load and unload tire containers as they come in, and to verify quantities are correct.

Essential Functions:

1. Unload tire containers as they become available.

2. Cycle counting inventory on a regular basis

3. To move tires between buildings if needed.

4. Familiarity with quality measurement tools.

5. Ensure the counts on containers are accurate.

6. Willingness to be part of a team- performing other duties as necessary.

7. Daily start-up meeting and communication of daily/weekly goals for Departments

8. Train others on daily work assignments when needed.

9. Assist with the warehouse, equipment, and shop maintenance as needed

10. Compares product with parts list or sample model to ensure completion of assembly

11. Verifies specified dimensions of product or material

12. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities:

1. Must be 18 years of age

2. Use measuring tools such as calipers and gauges to ensure correct dimensions.

3. Maintain equipment and tools to meet all requirements

4. Able to maintain a dependable and flexible work schedule that could include some evenings on rare occasions

5. Must be able to lift over 50 lbs. at a time

6. Willing to take on projects as needed

7. Maintains a professional appearance

8. Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a manufacturing environment. At times, the employee will be exposed to manufacturing environment, including forklift traffic, fumes, noise, and operating manufacturing equipment.

Physical Demands:

1. This position requires the ability to lift over 50 lbs., and stand for long periods of time

2. Must be able to work with hands and have ability to use misc., hand tools (i.e., hammer, drills ratchets

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. Will also require some weekend work.

Travel:

No overnight travel is expected for this position. There may be occasional local day travel.
