Fleet Operations Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide support to members experiencing mechanical issues and assist with warranty coverage within the first 30 days.
- Monitor telematics reports, follow up on high-priority codes, and ensure units are reporting properly.
- Coordinate transportation of assets utilizing our network of third-party logistics providers.
- Manage multiple vendor relationships to maintain high standards and reduce costs.
- Schedule and sequence vendor assignments to meet cycle time goals.
- Use the Transportation Management System to provide the current status of assets and schedule readiness.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
- Provide diagnostic and repair advice to Customer Service.
- Identify and execute opportunities to improve processes and results.
- Make outbound contact with members to resolve reporting issues.
Fleet Operations Coordinator Skills and Qualifications
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Customer service experience in a service department or logistics is a plus.
- Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products.
- High personal standards of accountability.
- Team player with a positive attitude and drive.
- College degree preferred.
Location: Prairie Village, KS and/or Pleasant Valley, MO
Pay: $60,000 to $75,000 annual salary, subject to qualifications and experience.
