The Role :

As an Account Development Representative, you will work directly with members of the Business Development team to communicate shipment updates proactively and accurately, ensuring a customer-centric approach. Analyze customer inquiries and provide quality and timely insights and updates to your customers. Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency. Assist in onboarding new customers while helping to identify the required procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.

What You’ll do :

  • Build and develop relationships with existing customers to ensure continued partnership.
  • Work directly with Business Development Representatives to grow their customer accounts.
  • Analyze customer inquiries and provide quality and timely insights and updates to your customers.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Respond to customers with a sense of urgency to provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Leverage OTR’s technology platform, to generate reports, analyze load data and exceed customer expectations.
  • Communicate shipment updates proactively and accurately ensuring a customer centric approach.

Experience / Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
  • An interest in providing industry leading customer service.
  • Ability to Thrive under deadlines, drive results, multi-task, and work with a sense of urgency.
  • A willingness to thrive in a high-energy setting, working in an office environment and engaging with clients over the phone, alongside a team of peers.
  • Demonstrated skills in building relationships and establishing rapport with colleagues, leaders, and clients.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively across the company
  • Driven, enthusiastic, resilient, agile and highly motivated.
