Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in financial and accounting systems, system design, and agile product development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and delivering features that enhance our financial technology solutions. You will work closely with engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to design scalable solutions, write detailed requirements in Azure DevOps (ADO) / JIRA, and create structured story maps to guide development teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Roadmap
Ø Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for financial and accounting systems.
Ø Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and align product goals with business objectives.
Ø Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and industry trends.
2. Requirement Gathering & Documentation
Ø Write clear and concise product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in ADO / JIRA.
Ø Create story maps to visualize user journeys and prioritize features.
Ø Work closely with finance, compliance, and engineering teams to ensure business needs are translated into technical solutions.
3. System Design & Technical Collaboration
Ø Partner with engineers and architects to design scalable and efficient financial and accounting systems.
Ø Understand data models, APIs, and integrations with third-party financial tools and ERPs.
Ø Ensure adherence to financial regulations and compliance standards in system design.
4. Agile Development & Execution
Ø Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Ø Work with developers and QA teams to prioritize, track, and deliver product increments.
Ø Ensure continuous improvement through sprint retrospectives and user feedback loops.
5. Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration
Ø Act as the bridge between business, finance, compliance, and engineering teams.
Ø Communicate product updates and progress to leadership and other key stakeholders.
Ø Collaborate with UX/UI teams to enhance user experience for financial products.
6. Performance Tracking & Iteration
Ø Define and track KPIs and success metrics for financial products.
Ø Gather user feedback and iterate on product features to improve performance and adoption.
Ø Stay updated with fintech, accounting standards, and financial technology innovations.
Qualifications & Experience
Ø 5 years of experience as a Product Manager in financial technology, accounting systems, or related domains.
Ø Strong understanding of financial workflows, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
Ø Experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature documentation in ADO / JIRA.
Ø Proficiency in story mapping, backlog management, and Agile methodologies.
Ø Knowledge of system design, APIs, and data structures related to financial applications.
Ø Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
Ø Experience with data visualization, financial reporting tools, and analytics.
Ø Familiarity with SQL, API documentation, and financial data processing.
Ø Certifications in Agile Product Management are a plus.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
