The Director, Global Market Research CNS at Otsuka Pharmaceuticals supports commercial insight needs for primarily late-stage CNS assets from Discovery to Launch and LCM globally. The GMR Director will be responsible for leading both primary and secondary market research and competitive intelligence along with other commercial insight generation for CNS assets.
The position is part of the GMMA organization. This role reports to the Senior Director, Global Market Research & Competitive Intelligence and will collaborate directly with the CNS Global Marketing team and cross-functional groups and regional affiliates. The Director of CNS Global Market Research will be an active contributor to the Global Marketing Market Access (GMMA) Group.
The Director position will lead the design, execution, and management of market research projects for late-stage assets (i.e. Ulotaront, Centanafadine, CT-152, SEP-135, Rexulti and Abilify Franchise). The Director is a market research subject matter expert and contributes to the to the annual Global Asset Planning. The Director is expected to select and manage market research agencies and to answer key business questions that drive business success. Additionally, the Director will integrate multiple sources of information/insights to support late-stage commercial teams in shaping brand development and strategy, including business cases, patient journey, brand positioning and customer needs assessment. The Director position requires strategic thinking, strong collaboration, and communication with the GMMA team and partnering with relevant functions and regions. The Director will make sure there is a consistent approach to late-stage assets in core branding deliverables from a market research approach (such as Segmentation, Positioning, Messaging, Creative).

- Minimum of 10 years' experience in market research leadership role in pharmaceutical industry or related profession.
- Minimum of 10 years conducting market research studies and managing projects
- Global experience.
- Master's degree or MBA.
