The Associate Medical Director, Global Medical Affairs Strategy plays a critical role in supporting the implementation of Medical Affairs strategy across assigned therapeutic area assets. This role collaborates with Medical Directors and Franchise Leads to drive strategic and tactical excellence. The Associate Medical Director serves as a key member on cross-functional teams, providing expert medical review of non-promotional and promotional content.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs colleagues to develop asset strategies and execute tactics with appropriate resource allocation.
- Provide timely and scientifically accurate medical/scientific reviews of materials for promotional and non-promotional use.
- Contribute high-quality scientific/clinical input and review of disease strategy plans, publications, and educational materials.
- Lead and assist internal and external-facing disease state and product information with therapeutic area experts.
- Support indication or franchise leads in providing medical input for product development and promotion.
- Develop data gap analyses and scientific communication priorities.
- Coordinate commercial training as needed.
- Execute Medical Affairs evidence generation activities.
- Develop educational objectives and review medical education grant requests.
- Serve as subject matter expert for Medical Information specialists.
