Qualifications : Valid teaching certification required with special education endorsement in Emotional Impairment preferred. Ideal applicant will have successful high school level teaching experience in a self-contained special education classroom and / or significant relevant work experience in mental health, education, or court system.
Description : Position provides instruction in a classroom that is part of a program offering comprehensive, quality education to youth with severe emotional impairments. This position will serve high school aged students who are not diploma seeking. Students are pursuing a certificate of completion.

Compensation : Per SPS pay schedule; approximately $51,000 minimum starting salary (for fully certified, properly credentialed teacher)
