As a Dietary manager, you will oversee the dietary department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nutritional care to residents. Qualifications:
a. May conduct initial resident interview.
b. Records all pertinent information.
c. Inputs diet changes as needed.
Takes care of diet changes, nourishments, and temperature logs and inputs new residents in computer. Creates labels/tickets for daily production. Supervises and trains in all areas of the department.
Works with Dietetic Technician on therapeutic diets and spreadsheets. Ensure that the menus are followed with planned recipes available for preparation. Do daily production sheets according to posted menus.
Supervises sanitation and cleaning procedures within the dietary department. Creates monthly cleaning schedules, and ensures kitchen systems and storage areas are kept in sanitary conditions.
Attends Food Committee. Create/implement plan of action to correct issues; present to Director of Food & Nutrition for approval. Asst. Food Service Manager to make daily meal rounds.
Supervises and instructs all employees in all phases of food prep and service to include:
A) Orienting and training new personnel
B) Instructing new employees in use of care and maintenance of all equipment.
C) Serves as supervisor on duty, daily entries in supervisor log book, Identifies problems, concerns and decision made that day.
Prepares monthly schedules for employees; presents to Director for approval prior to implementation. Responsible for staffing on a day-to-day basis.
Participates on facility Safety Team.
