Under the general direction of the Parks Project, Data, and Grants Manager, assists in basic duties related to the Ottawa County Parks and Recreation Commission GIS databases.
This internship has been approved for up to 500 hours, with a flexible schedule, working at the Fillmore Complex at 12220 Fillmore St. West Olive, MI, 49460.The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Assist with editing geodatabase files in ArcGIS Pro
- Assists with editing 365/Sharepoint Lists in Office 365
- Assist with data collection in the field
- Performs other functions as assigned
- Preferred basic knowledge of applications in ESRI 10.x software including ArcGISPro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcCatalog, ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Server.
- Preferred basic knowledge of databases, 365 knowledge.
- Ability to interact positively and objectively with department directors, elected officials, coworkers, end-users, user committees, vendors, and internal and external clients from a wide range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds and with varying levels of technical knowledge and skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
